Lakota Native American sings in senate - celebrates Keystone pipeline bill fail

Native American activists erupted in song after a vote to build the controversial Keystone XL pipeline failed to pass in the Senate gallery in Washington DC on Tuesday. The pipeline aimed to bring oil from tar sands in the western Canadian province of Alberta through to Texas, however failed just one short of the 60 threshold, while 41 voted against it. The protester that interrupted Elizabeth Warren, presiding over the Senate, was identified as Greg Graycloud of the Lakota tribe. At least five Native American protesters were arrested in total and taken from the Senate chamber. READ MORE:
